  3. Watch it here.
I'm stucked here. You know guys; it's all about the pentiums. ~Your wirtual memory is running low!~ As I try to add on more details, components, materials, etc. it slowing and slowing each time. And it's boring to work whit slow machine this sunny days.

  4. Hey Tóth,

Your model is awesome, really really detailed, though low poly. The components all have very low polygon counts, but because you copied it so many times, you're up to 900.000 edges and 400.000 faces! This is really the largest number of entities I have ever seen in a model that -relatively- is lowpoly. I don't have a solution for this, but on my PC the model ran great in Sketchup. A little slow in changing scenes or face style, but is wasn't very annoying.

  5. i am also trying a train and station - i thought that i could start my scenes with the train in the distance and move it closer with each scene to give an appearance of it moving but it is not working - i even tried moving the scenery and leaving the train stationary but no luck - but i'm still trying lol if not we just get a statioary train haha

  6. Hai, mbuzzyk
its possible.you just need to copy the train where you want to be it in the current scene. for example, you want 2 scenes, then you need 2 trains in your model. now hide the unvanted train (select, right mb hide) and position the viewpoint where you want 1st scene. add scene1, then rmb on scene 1-scene manager-updatescene. after this unhide previous train, next time hide the train you dont want to see, add scene2-scene manager-update scene. do it as any time as many scene you want. good luck
(its possible with layers too, i think)
oh now im overloading the comments page - - -

  7. A great tip Tóth, but I think that a lot of detailed trains copied all over the model would dramatically increase filesize. I hope it works out for you!

  14. I think we can extend the deadline by one day; is this enough? because we really want to start #103 on Sunday, and then the voting should be over, so we can announce the winner.

  15. On second thought, I'll just finish what I have so far. I don't want to throw off the schedule of the challenge. Keep up the good work Milo.

Excellent level of detail and great use of components. The elements of the bus are scaled property as well.

2 points Lady and the Tram by CK
The details of the trams are amazing. Their under carriages are worth showing off in their own scenes. Nice scroll work in the power poles. The model's overall look seems very authentic. Good whimsical name for the entry.

1 points UNION TRAIN STATION by jptoodles
Nice job on the design, I can see it becoming a real train station. I would like to have seen actual train tracks instead of flat shapes because they are a little hard to make out. Good job overall. BTW, I thought this whole time your username was jpnoodles, but now I can see it's actually jptoodles. Oops.

3 points for Solarcraft by Jedi Charles, excellent in part fucntional design. (I imagine about this model with dynamic component properties, it's will be most wonderful)

2 points for Montado CB-19 by Gabor, highly details even in small parts.

1 ponint for Trolley stop by Jansen. This is same atmosphere to my model. My idea about public transportation,it should have people, vehicle and surrounding area, and you made it all.

  32. @Chen Wei Xiayi Vescia Chen Yi Dong Dong Fu Fu - What are you trying to say? "Long drive straight toward the planet's people, the inverse falter on the road in the gorge who achieve their goals more easily."? That's the best translation I found. 你是一個人的偉大的奧秘。
