SketchUp 3D Challenge #232: Crossbows

Challenge Period: Monday, 29 February 2016 - Sunday, 13 March 2016

The crossbow goes back as far as the 4th Century BC in East Asia and has gone through may design improvement over the ages. While designs have changed, the basic design principle remains: a bow attached to a stock with a mechanism to hold and release the drawn bow string to launch the bolt (arrow).

For this challenge, you are to model a crossbow of any type (including the bolts) that fulfills the design principle listed above.

SketchUp 3D Challenge #231: Baby Stroller/Carriage

Challenge Period: Monday, 15 February 2016 - Sunday, 28, February 2016

The wheeled baby transport has been around for over 280 years and believe it or not, they were intended to be pulled by a goat or a small pony. The design evolved into baby carriages and eventually into two types of transports: carriages and strollers (also known in the UK as prams/carrycots and push chairs/buggies, respectively). See the article on Wikipedia for more information.

For this challenge you may model a non-powered wheeled baby transport from an existing design or one from your imagination.

SketchUp 3D Challenge #230: School Supplies

Challenge Period: Monday, 01 February 2016 - Sunday, 14 February 2016

School supplies are something we all have had to deal with for at least some part of our lives. Different types of schools require different types of supplies. In general, these supplies include: pens, pencils, paper, erasers, rulers, scissors, calculators, pencil sharpeners, glue, paper clips, notebooks and staplers but with the different types of schools, the sky's the limit unless of course you are training to become an astronaut or a rocket scientist.

For this challenge, you are to model various types of school supplies for REAL and FICTIONAL types of schools, even schools of witchcraft and wizardry.
