SketchUp 3D Challenge #269: Steamboat

Challenge Period: Monday, 31 July 2017 - Sunday, 13 August 2017

Steamboat

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A steamboat is a boat that is propelled primarily by steam power, typically driving propellers or paddlewheels. Steamboats sometimes use the prefix designation SS, S.S. or S/S (for 'Screw Steamer') or PS (for 'Paddle Steamer'), however these designations are most often used for Steamships.
The term steamboat is used to refer to smaller, insular, steam-powered boats working on lakes and rivers, particularly riverboats. As using steam became more reliable, steam power became applied to larger, ocean-going vessels.
For the purposes of this challenge, you are to model a steamboat designed for lakes and rivers.

READ THIS -- Rule Change: Trimble has made the decision to phase out tags in the 3D Warehouse in favor of hashtags. This change is yet to take effect, however, to get ahead of the change, the SketchUp 3D Challenge will now require the hashtag supplied in the challenge post added to the Description of your model instead of using the soon to be phased-out Tags section in the 3D Warehouse.
- Only models with the given hashtag (including the '#') in the description of their model will count in the challenge. Note that there are no spaces hashtags.
- See this page in the SketchUp User Forums for more information about the switch to hashtags.
Reminder: Participants in challenges (those whom submit models) are required to vote when the challenge is over. This is to encourage the community aspect of the challenge by giving the other participants feedback on their work. If you don't submit a vote, your entry will be disqualified. The only exception is when just one entry is submitted to the challenge.

Children's playhouses are a fun and safe place for children to play and enjoy other childhood activities. They may be built upon the ground or elevated in the air and many times include slides and other playground equipment. They are typically modeled after traditional home designs but a small scale for children.

For the purposes of this challenge, you are to design and model a playhouse for children. Your design should be inviting to children and intended to spark their imagination during play.

Challenge Period: Monday, 3 July 2017 - Sunday, 16 July 2017

Convenience store
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A convenience store is a small retail business that stocks a range of everyday items such as groceries, snack foods, confectionery, soft drinks, tobacco products, over-the-counter drugs, toiletries, newspapers, and magazines. In some jurisdictions, corner stores are licensed to sell alcohol, typically beer and wine. Such stores may also offer money order and wire transfer services. They differ from general stores and village shops in that they are not in a rural location and are used as a convenient supplement to larger stores.
A convenience store may be part of a gas/petrol station, so customers can purchase goods conveniently while filling their vehicle with fuel. It may be located alongside a busy road, in an urban area, near a railway or railroad station, or at another transport hub. In some countries, convenience stores have long shopping hours, some remaining open 24 hours.
For the purposes of this challenge, you may model a convenience store that fits the description above. You don't have to stock the shelves but if you have the time, have at it.
