SketchUp 3D Challenge #245: Dining Tables

Challenge Period: Monday, 29 August 2016 - Sunday, 11 September, 2016


Dining tables come in all shapes and sizes, and in a great variety of materials allowing for endless possibilities in form and function.

For this challenge you are to design and model a dining table with seating for at least 6 people. Think about something unique that fits your personality and also consider how to present the model in a creative way.

The Space Age is a time period encompassing the activities related to the Space Race, space exploration, space technology, and the cultural developments influenced by these events. The Space Age is generally considered to have begun with Sputnik (1957).
For the purposes of this challenge, you are to model anything relating to or inspired by the Space Age. You are free to model architecture, vehicles, furniture or anything else that represent the ideas of the Space Age.
