I am considering making changes to the rules for voting on the challenge. The goal of voting is to select the best model for the specific challenge as part of a group effort. Your opinion of the best is very subjective, but, certain things need to be weighed upon such as the quality of the modeling, adherence to the rules and that it fits the description of the challenge. I would like to have your input on our voting system. Here are some questions to discuss:
-What are some ways that would improve the voting?
-How can we encourage more people to vote?
-Should participants be required to vote if they submit an entry?
Thanks everyone

SketchUp 3D Challenge #208 - Subway Train

Monday, 20 April 2015 - Thursday, 7 May 2015
For this challenge, you are to model a subway train and a loading platform. A subway system is a form of rapid transit that runs underground found in many metropolitan areas around the globe. They are also commonly referred to as the metro, the underground, the train and sometimes the tube. A subway train is designed with efficiency in mind with the goal of moving as many passengers possible.
Your subway train should include a motor car on both ends and at least one trailer car in between. Along with your train, you should also model a boarding platform for the train to pull up to. You may base your model on a real subway train or one from your imagination.
In addition to bragging rights for winning this challenge, your model will be featured in the new version of the Challenge Participation Manual that is currently in the works.
