  1. General Notes:
There will no obligation for a blog entry anymore. It is still allowed to post a link to your model or additional images, but it is not required anymore to submit a model to the challenges. The 3D Warehouse tag is still required though and should be added when uploading a model to the Warehouse.

You can use the hyperlink code creator on the frontpage of the blog to create the code for a hyperlink in your message. Copy this code and paste it in the comment box on the place where your want the hyperlink to be.

Challenge suggestions are welcome to be placed on the blog. Items will be noted and compiled on the moderator’s list. At that point, the initial comment for the suggestion may be deleted so as to maintain a streamline challenge thread for use of posting entries for the challenge and comments to models. Challenge suggestions have always been welcomed and taken under consideration.

Please refrain from using background images in your models as it is the model itself that is being judged.

You'll notice a new link on the main page that directs you to the First Place Certificate area to which winners are able to print a certificate with a picture of their model detailing their excellence. You can access the page through the main page of the blog.

    Good Luck!!!!

  2. I'll skip this one. There are already too much submarines in the warehouse. Hopefully there will be a Lego challenge! I'm looking forward for that challenge.

  3. Dig properly specify your votes (3D Challenge #083 - Concept Vehicle) by full User-name & Model-name.

  5. @ Henkie Tenk,
did you use blueprints to make the lego peice's? and if you did were did you find them, i've looked every where but can't find a thing.

  6. @ randomofodication
Take a look to this link

  7. @ randomofodication:

I searched the internet for measurements and then made the bricks. I'm not sure if the measurement are really correct, but it looks ok for me. The bricks are made just by looking at the building picture.

  9. I'm going with a mini-sub for this challange... Something exploratory, but with a hint of tourism potential. :-)

    Aquatic Exploration Vehicle

  10. Done and dusted . The Archimedes is here . Hope you like it .I've been doing models for a year or so but never submitted one to 3d warehouse.

  11. i love the design for the solocraft flying fish submarine, the only thing that you should of put in were seats and maybe some claws to pick up objects.

  13. @designmaster thanks for your comments. I ran out of time to do the interior and i intended to create accessories for different capabilities. If it were a two-weeker it would be complete. This is one I will finish off outside the challenge.

Really well done. Great concept, love the textures, and really true to the original design.

    2 Points

I really like this one and I'd love to see it with some extra internal parts.

    1 Point
"Ocean Odyssey by HenkieTenk" by HenkieTenk
Very good! Your lego block design skills will definatley come in handy this week too!

  15. My votes for Challenge 085
3 points to "Aquatic Exploration Vehicle" by Nathan
2 points to "Ocean Odyssey by HenkieTenk"
1 point to "SoloCraft Flying Fish Submarine" by JediCharles

  16. There were lots of great models, but my votes are the following ones :

Three points : "Turtle" by A.J.Unknow, the best one to me with perfect use of textures and geometry modelling knowledges. And the details are subtle.

Two points : "Aquatic Exploration Vehicle" by Nathan, nice look and fine details.

A point for "Ocean Odyssey" by HenkieTenk, great model made of blocks and I love the way you displayed every piece, an useful inventory.
Ann want to see the look of your airport :)Even if I would have gone without a two-week challenge...!

So that's my votes even though I really like the Cloudedzero model...

  17. 3: Turtle by Aj Unknow
Realy good detail, i know it wil cost some time to make that spiral drill thing!

2: Aquatic Exploration Vehicle by Nathan
Nice design, i like the cockpit!

1: SoloCraft Flying Fish Submarine by Jedicharles
Nice design, but missed the inside
