Snowmobile

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A snowmobile, also known in some places as a snowmachine, or sled, is a land vehicle for winter travel on snow. Designed to be operated on snow and ice, they require no road or trail. Design variations enable some machines to operate in deep snow or forests; most are used on open terrain, including frozen lakes, or driven on paths or trails. Usually designed to accommodate a driver and one passenger, their use is much like a motorcycle and an all-terrain vehicle (ATVs) intended for winter use on snow-covered ground and frozen ponds and waterways. They have no enclosure except for a windshield and their engine normally drives a continuous track or tracks at the rear; skis at the front provide directional control.
 A standard participation rules apply.

The winner of previous 3D Challenge #131 - Banks is...

Congratulations to SketchUp Diva on her first win and may many future wins follow. The construction progress of her bank was every bit as interesting as the final result. Thanks for participating.

  2. i used my "3d Me"made earlier in the model , i made him all black , it was just to make more sense with the machine in action ...tell me if i need to hide it , i don't want to be disqualified.

  3. If you need the opinion of another contestant, I don't see an issue with it. We are just voting on the machine itself. Right?

  4. If you have time to create a new figure I would do that or just find another way to feature the model. I think it is important for the rules to be followed so I thank you for asking before the challenge closes. I like your idea of a snowmobile; it is like the Segway of snowmobiles.

  14. so... why challenge is closed 4 days early ?
its kind of sad to work hard and fast to finish something ,and then this happens ....

kind of like a 3 lap race , and a driver make 1 lap and claim a victory :S

  15. @GoldenSim, The challenge deadline is always listed in the blog post and the deadline for this one was the 14th and hasn't been changed. The challenge periods have been 10 days for quite a while now. New challenges start on a Sunday and they go 10 days until a Wednesday. The days then leading up to the next challenge is the voting period. I understand that you are upset but please don't react that way. This is a friendly competition, so let's please keep it that way.

  27. Thank you everyone for your votes. I'm glad you like my model. Thank you. Details on Sno' Jet Thunder Jet as srews and nameplate and the progressive springs on Bahamut are also wondeful.
Maybe future contest idea: Christmas crib
