SketchUp 3D Challenge #169 - Skateboards

Monday, 4 March 2013 - Thursday, 14 March 2013

Skateboard

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A skateboard is a type of sports equipment used primarily for the activity of skateboarding. It usually consists of a specially designed maplewood board combined with a polyurethane coating used for making smoother slides and stronger durability.
A skateboard is propelled by pushing with one foot while the other remains on the board, or by pumping one's legs in structures such as a pool or half pipe. A skateboard can also be used by simply standing on the deck while on a downward slope and allowing gravity to propel the board and rider.
For the purpose of this challenge you are allowed to use your imagination and create a one-of-a-kind skateboard or model one from the real world.

Note: Due to recent concerns, a new rule has been added. Starting from challenge #169 going forward, renders will no longer be permitted as part of a participants submission. This rule is intended to enforce the idea that this is a modeling challenge where not only is the presentation is important, so is the quality of the modeling and the uniqueness of the design. Please keep this in mind when voting for the winner.
