SketchUp 3D Challenge #198 - Rockets

Thursday, 02 January '14 - Monday, 13 January '14

Rocket
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A rocket is a missile, spacecraft, aircraft or other vehicle that obtains thrust from a rocket engine. Rocket engine exhaust is formed entirely from propellants carried within the rocket before use. Rocket engines work by action and reaction. Rocket engines push rockets forward simply by throwing their exhaust backwards extremely fast.
What better way to rocket into the New Year than with a rocket challenge? You are free to design or model any type of rocket you choose or even invent your own kind of rocket. Rockets are often smooth and sleek so you are further challenged to add details to your rocket from the rocket motor to the cone. Feel free to fulfill your space travel fantasy or model something from history; it's totally up to you.

Standard Participation Rules apply. Thanks to Francesco Tassoni for the challenge topic suggestion.
