3D Challenge #067 - Xmas Holidays

This week's challenge:

Xmas Holidays

This will be a one week challenge and you will be modeling something about Christmas. You could model what you want but it must be related to your own Christmas. It must be something that shows what Christmas means to you: Xmas Tree decorations, a long table ready for the dinner, ginger bread, etc. So, please avoid drawing mechs with Santa Hat or Red cars.

Good luck with the challenge!

3D Warehouse tag: 3d challenge 067

  1. General Notes:
There will no obligation for a blog entry anymore. It is still allowed to post a link to your model or additional images, but it is not required anymore to submit a model to the challenges. The 3D Warehouse tag is still required though and should be added when uploading a model to the Warehouse.

You can use the hyperlink code creator on the frontpage of the blog to create the code for a hyperlink in your message. Copy this code and paste it in the comment box on the place where your want the hyperlink to be.

Challenge suggestions are welcome to be placed on the blog. Items will be noted and compiled on the moderator’s list. At that point, the initial comment for the suggestion may be deleted so as to maintain a streamline challenge thread for use of posting entries for the challenge and comments to models. Challenge suggestions have always been welcomed and taken under consideration.

Please refrain from using background images in your models as it is the model itself that is being judged.

You'll notice a new link on the main page that directs you to the First Place Certificate area to which winners are able to print a certificate with a picture of their model detailing their excellence. You can access the page through the main page of the blog.

    HAVE FUN!!!!

  4. @ Chris Bence
You really catch what I will avoid.
But a Santa Claus with a similar T-shirt would be....humor, maybe?

  5. This is a cool challenge. My family tradition is to put a cocoanut under our christmas tree. My dads family started the tradition. My dad came from a small town in Northeastern arkansas called Engleburg a town with allot of german decent but that is not the reason the reason is I think they couldn't find any thing to put under the tree on christmaseve so they went to the grocery store and the only thing they had was cocoanut so the tradition follows. But that wouldn't be a good model so I am going to ponder this one.
    Merry Christmas.
    Jeff

  6. That's what i'm talking about! although i am catholic, i think you should change it (if possible) to something that would support and respect all other religions. Maybe Winter Holidays or something. But its a good challenge and i'll be posting soon!

Great model but you can't use premade components, even if you modified them in some way.
All things inside model must be created from zero during week challenge.

Please, remove tag or delete objects.
