SketchUp 3D Challenge #213: Vacuum Cleaners

Thursday, 25 June 2015 - Monday, 06 July 2015

Vacuum cleaners have become essential cleaning tools since their inception. They were originally invented by Hubert Cecil Booth as a device for his cleaning service and were mounted to horse-drawn carriages and powered by internal combustion engines. Thankfully electricity has made them a lot more convenient to use.

Rule Change: Participants in challenges are now required to vote when the challenge is over. This is to encourage the community aspect of the challenge by giving the other participants feedback on their work.

For this challenge you are free to model a vacuum cleaner from any era or design your own.

Standard Participation Rules apply. Thanks to Kaden Lewis for suggesting the topic of this challenge.

Monday, 1 June 2015 - Monday, 15 June 2015

For this challenge you are to model a Tree Home. This is different from Challenge #147 - Tree House because this time around the structure must be designed as a permanent residence with all of the modern amenities you would expect in today's modern home. Again, the structure must be fully supported by at least one living tree. Because of the scope of the challenge, you will be given an additional 4 days to complete your tree home.

Rule Change: Participants in challenges are now required to vote when the challenge is over. This is to encourage the community aspect of the challenge by giving the other participants feedback on their work.

Standard Participation Rules apply. Thanks to GoldenSim's suggestion that inspired the topic of the challenge.
