SketchUp 3D Challenge #183 - Personalized Mugs

Monday, 29 July 2013 - Thursday, 08 August 2013

Mugs come in all shapes and sizes and are designed to contain hot or cold beverages. Their designs range from simplistic to ornate and often one's favorite mug represents a manifestation of the individual's personality.

In this challenge, you are to design a mug that specifically represents you and your personality. This can include your favorite activities, things you enjoy, or literally anything that represents you as a person. An ordinary mug with a simple screen printed saying will not do; it should be modeled with a high level of detail that shows off your modeling skill. It does not need to be too practical as long as it can safely be used if it were real.

Standard Participation Rules apply. Thanks to GoldenSim for inspiring this challenge topic.

Clock
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The clock is one of the oldest human inventions, meeting the need to consistently measure intervals of time shorter than the natural units: the day; the lunar month; and the year. Devices operating on several different physical processes have been used over the millennia, culminating in the clocks of today.
In this challenge, you are to model a wall clock of an existing design or one of your own creation. You may use any type of movement you like as long as the clock mounts to a wall and does not touch the floor.

Standard Participation Rules apply.

Board game

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A board game is a game that involves counters or pieces moved or placed on a pre-marked surface or "board", according to a set of rules. Games can be based on pure strategy, chance (e.g. rolling dice) or a mixture of the two, and usually have a goal that a player aims to achieve. Early board games represented a battle between two armies, and most current board games are still based on defeating opposing players in terms of counters, winning position or accrual of points (often expressed as in-game currency).
For the purposes of this challenge you are free to design and model any type of board game you choose. Also, remember to make every piece needed for the game because nobody likes to pull a board game out of the closet only to find some of the key parts required by the game missing and spoiling the evening...

Standard Participation Rules apply. Thanks to Sketchmaster Tóth for the challenge suggestion.
