ReplyDeleteOriginal Painting: Compassion Painting
I'm really glad to see you've selected this proposition, by the way, I almost finished mine. Nonetheless, I'd like to know why the styles & fog don't appear in the thumbnail, I think I have to click or lock something, please, help me then I could start using styles because I never used them before ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm not in this challenge! It's to unsketchuppy for me... ;) But have fun!
ReplyDeleteDamn, I wanted to make an Escher painting: Convex and Concave LinkBut after an half our I noticed that it was impossible to create it in 3D. It al depends on how a person sees the painting...
ReplyDeleteI'll keep it with The Scream

ReplyDeleteThanks
My model for this competition is the Andre The Giant poster.
ReplyDeleteI think the next challenge should be something to do with LEGOS.
ReplyDeleteMy Entry: Nighthawks (1942) by Edward Hopper
ReplyDeleteSee my blog entry.
Ya, a lego challenge would be cool... but it would be a lot of work for people (like me) who don't like, or don't have a real knack for working of of blueprints. its a good idea, maybee if it were made into a two week long challenge (i love two week long challenges!).
ReplyDeleteYea that sounds good to me.
ReplyDeleteI think a lego challenge would be cool, but instead of making the individual legos (Agh!) we make an already existing lego set ( star wars, exo force, bionocle-Etc. )
ReplyDeleteMr.jumpman V.3
ya not just peices (although you'll need them to build the set). And possibly just any model, made-up (non existing lego set) or made by LEGO itself
ReplyDeleteexample of a Made-Up modelas long as the model is made of only lego bricks (or parts) i think it should be counted as an entry

2pts. Roy Lichtenstein Whaam! Pop Art 1963
by wasp2
Nice work with the plane.
1pts. The Scream by Edvard Munch in 3D by HenkieTenk
Your version has a quite a comical face. And you kind of left a tutorial for creating the face off to the side.
3 points to “Nighthawks (1942) by Edward Hopper” by JediCharles. Very good model with good perspective. With persons would be perfect but I know the difficulty in SU and we have only one week for the challenge.
ReplyDelete2 points to “Nostalgia for the Infinite (Giorgio De Chirico)” by moboille. Good perspective and good final result. Maybe you should change the orientation of the model and shadows and reduce the fog.
1 point to “The Scream by Edvard Munch in 3D” by HenkieTenk. Good model and tutorial but I think the face has too much geometry.
3 Points:
