I'd like to make a model request: The solar system scaled, with correct axis and relative coordinates. Could start with just the planets and sun, and build on it later with satellites. Do the planets correctly in terms of geometry as best as possible.
ReplyDeleteI looked for one of just the Earth, and found one that had clouds and whose axis was not set or scaled well.
Cheers

(Motorcycle challenge)... Is there a trick to reduce the file size except making as much components as possible ? cause i think i am gonna go over 10mb and making 2 models is tricky for voting...
ReplyDeleteor would plenty of images/Renders of all angles can be ok for the challenge? Thank's
You may have to reduce your detail level in both modeling and textures to keep it below 10 megs. If you use textures, try reducing their size and make sure they are jpg with lower quality level. a.j.unknow's models are good examples of how to keep the filesize small. Somehow he manages to make complex looking models that use very few resources. You can make renders but we still need to see the whole model in SketchUp.
Delete:S the model have only 1 low texture and i made as much separate component as possible , iam at 8+mb ...ill do my best to make it work , but if not i will have to upload it in 2models and hope that it will be judge as one..
DeleteThanks for the responce

ReplyDeleteBoth of these used simple modeling to create a great result.

Thought the idea of the film reel and using the animation feature was great. Enjoyed the world-wide scope of the pictures.
