SketchUp 3D Challenge #164 - Motorcycles

Thursday, 10 January 2013 - Monday, 21 January 2013

Motorcycles (also motorbike) can be a fun and practical way to get around from place to place. There is an estimated 200 million motorized bike world wide which amounts to 33 per every 1000 people on Earth. There are three major types of motorcycles: street, off-road and dual purpose. Each type can be further broken down into many sub types including: street, sport, cruising, touring, sport touring, motocross, trail, off-road racing, drag racing and road racing.

For the purposes of this challenge, you are to model any type of motorcycle you like as long as it has just two wheels (wheelie-bar wheels okay on dragster bikes). It must be a true motorcycle and not a moped or scooter as in Challenge #035.

Standard Participation Rules apply. Thanks to GoldenSim for the topic suggestion.

  1. I take it we can model a fantasy based design, and this is not simply open to anecdotal recording of existing bikes in 3D?

    1. You can design and model anything you like, you are not limited to models of motorcycles that actually exist.
