ReplyDeleteYou can use the hyperlink code creator on the frontpage of the blog to create the code for a hyperlink in your message. Copy this code and paste it in the comment box on the place where your want the hyperlink to be.
Challenge suggestions are welcome to be placed on the blog. Items will be noted and compiled on the moderator’s list. At that point, the initial comment for the suggestion may be deleted so as to maintain a streamline challenge thread for use of posting entries for the challenge and comments to models. Challenge suggestions have always been welcomed and taken under consideration.
Please refrain from using background images in your models as it is the model itself that is being judged.
You'll notice a new link on the main page that directs you to the First Place Certificate area to which winners are able to print a certificate with a picture of their model detailing their excellence. You can access the page through the main page of the blog.
Good Luck!!!!
It has been a while since I have been able to compete in any competitions, but hope now that life is not so busy I will be able to start again. These competitions are great for keeping up your sketchup skills. Well anyway here is my model for this weeks competition

I put my model to this challenge too. It's a small lighthouse. Actually, lighthouse challenge was already made in challenge 015. I just found it after my lighthouse progress was about 80% finish. However, I think my model is still correct with these conditions, real, current and small.

heres my votes for the small is beautiful challenge.....
ReplyDelete3points to CK
2points to lordgood
1point to flukeworld
everyone did a great job i think ! best of luck to all.
* however with this challenge i have come to notice alot of changes that have occured. Im very surrpised to see that only certian ppl are rating/voting on certian ones that have been entered and not all that have been entered.
milo was the only one whom took the time to enter a comment or rating on all items entered into this , guys this is sad ! you want to see what ppl think about yours , do you not think others feel the same about their own?
look at it this way if you enter one in the contest then could you not take a few secs outta your time to rate / comment on your fellow sketchers ?
stop me if im wrong but when we first started this program last year its was a big part of it that made it fun and more of a challenge , it also helps us to do better and adjust , make changes etc ..when needed , someimes our eyes dont see what others do so to speak.
anyways in upcomming events i hope to see more interaction with comments/rates for all from all.
dracoscove
dracoscove,
ReplyDeleteYou are not wrong, you just want to see this challenge back to alive again, I'm same with you.
I appreciated with milo's devotion. He try a lot for this challenge, since setup challenge, make announcement, made his own model to compete and give rating to all challenger. That's the way he do and I think his attempt can make this challenge back to alive.
For me, I'm different from milo. I cannot be the moderator of this blog. I just want to be one of competitor only. I come to see some of professional works and learn from them. I hope they're still follow this blog and wait for comeback, I'm waiting for their comeback too.
I'll give rating for some models which I feel (just my feeling, I'm not pro) it have something interesting.
Each time I voted top 3 models, I'll download all models first and check it all. I'll come back again to vote in my evening.

(nicely done, but I don't understand, why is it so radically different from that part of the original Google Earth model - it's supposed to be the same, isn't it?)
I think I'll stop the voting for now, announce the winner, and start the new mothersday challenge!
ReplyDeleteThank you for all competitors and all vote points for me.
